The tree in the center of the photograph was a favorite place for my daughter to play during construction. Some of the boulders were saved during the grading and pushed into position using mattresses and rugs to prevent them from being scarred by the bulldozer. The entire tennis court pad was filled with boulders which were then quarried for the stonework on the house.
