Guest House
The guest house was built after George Michael sold his home to a German businessman. The new owner at first asked me to design guest quarters for the main house, but an addition there would have destroyed the symmetrical composition so we opted for a separate guest house. It is quite small, but the Santa Barbara zoning ordinances prohibited anything larger.
