"A House Should Never Be On the Hill,
But Of the Hill"

Frank Lloyd Wright

This house is located on a 60-acre vantage point with views of the Pacific Coast for as far as the eye can see. Upon seeing the dramatic sight for the first time, I suggested to my client we design a home based on a circular theme using a domed roof system. She said that seemed "too modernistic" for a mountain setting and I should "proceed at my own risk". But when she saw the preliminary drawings she said it took her breath away. "I know one thing for certain; I LOVE this house!"
