This is one of three balconies in my first home and it was a favorite sunny place for lunch. The balcony is cantilevered out over the hillside overlooking the city of Santa Barbara and the Pacific. Steps up to the entry are located just behind the long planter. The dining room window looks out over the balcony to the view.
