The "guest house" was never used for guests; it became a necessity for my growing family and was occupied by my two oldest teenage boys. It was a pretty good retreat for them with its radiant heated stone floor, fireplace, and ocean view. The little fountain and fishpond in the center of the picture was one many "projects" constructed over the years and a favorite source of fun for my youngest daughter.
