The stonework here at the third level was far superior to my earlier work at the base of the structure. Each of the projecting strips of stone had to be temporally supported to keep them from tipping off the wall. Needless to say, it was very laborious process. As the stonework progressed to each 8 foot level, reinforced concrete was poured between the stonework and wooden forms, bonding the stone to the concrete.
The window over the drafting table at the far end of the room faces north and looks out over the patios. The house represented by the model in the foreground can be seen by clicking "A Mountain Dwelling".
